The Proposal...

On a Thursday afternoon,

after lunch Josiah took Karis to this hole in the wall coffee shop in Tulsa they both love called Coffee House on Cherry Street, more affectionately known by the locals and college kids as CHOCS. They walked in to mull over the many options on the menu and Karis decided on chai. Josiah of course sided with Karis (because she has great coffee preferences of course) and decided to get chai as well. The two ordered their drinks and found a comfy couch for themselves. Karis reserved their spot while Josiah walked back up to the counter to grab the drinks. After a few minutes Josiah brought his drink back and sat it on the table in front of Karis. A bit sad that Josiah brought his mug back first instead of hers she sat still patiently waiting for her chai. Soon Josiah came back with her cup and saucer and sat it beside Karis. She looked down and noticed the beautiful ring that lay next to her cup. Josiah moved closer to Karis on the couch to lean in and ask her to marry him. The content of the proposal was not remembered by Karis as she was in awe of the entire moment. If you really want to know what he said, you'll just have to ask him.
